Unlike traditional skip bins, our mobile skip bins come with lockable lids. With this, you can control who puts waste in your skip bin and avoid others loading your skip while you are not looking.
There is no need to obtain a council permit for mobile skip bins. If you live in the Newcastle or Lake Macquarie Council areas and you wish to place a traditional open top skip bin outside of your property boundary (for example, on the street or nature strip) you will need to apply for a permit costing up to $90. As our mobile skip bins are registered vehicles they do not require a council permit fee making them cheaper to hire compared to open top marrel skip bins requiring a council permit.
There is no need to worry about our skip bin trailers ruining your lawn or driveway. With their pneumatic tyres, our mobile skip bins won’t scratch your driveway or dig in to your lawn.
Being able to place a skip bin close to where your rubbish is located saves you time and effort. Mobile skip bins can often be placed where other types of skip bins cannot. Our mobile skip bins fit under carports, garages, underground carparks, low hanging trees, or other low-hanging objects.
Do you need help loading your bin? Here at 1300 Mobile Skip Bins, we can also offer a loading service. You may even qualify for 1/2 hour of loading by us completely free.
Do you need your skip bin urgently? In most cases, we offer same day delivery. Simply call us and we will deliver a skip bin to you by the end of the day.
Contact us before midday to receive your skip bin on the same day. Please note that Fridays are the busiest day of the week so we recommend placing your order as early as possible.
If you fill your skip bin and need another one we offer same-day turnaround. Simply call us when your skip bin is full and we will take it away and bring you an empty skip bin so you can continue to keep working.
Mobile skip bins may be placed on your property, the roadway or nature strip in front of your property. Please ensure the skip bin area is available during the delivery day and that there is enough room for the skip bin and delivery vehicle. It is advisable to reserve the space by either parking your vehicle in the space or blocking it off using traffic cones or tape. *Additional fees may be charged if a bin cannot be delivered due to unavailable space at the delivery time.
No council permits are required for mobile skip bins however as they are registered vehicles they still need to comply with council parking restrictions. If you need a skip bin in an area with parking restrictions (for example, metered or time parking) please let us know and we will organise the required permits. Note, council fees may apply.
